A delight far from tourist restaurants. Fresh products, very pleasant service (speaks French what's more). The shaded terrace under the vines is ideal for lunch.

Very good fish, not expensive. Lovely terrace outside under the vines. Staff are top class. Very polite, helpful and informative about all the food. It’s a 10 minute walk outside the central square so it was easy to find a table Saturday night.

Amazing food never ever

I had pasta with sea urchin and it was very delicious. Amazing food, reasonable price, and very friendly staff. Highly recommend if you are on this beautiful island!

On our last day on La Maddalena we accidentally found the "Osteria da Zione" a little away from the center. The owner Lorenzo immediately explained to us in a very friendly manner his small menu, which promised delicacies. Only the kitchen doesn't open until 8 p.m. When we sadly realized that we unfortunately had to leave on the same day, he and his chef quickly opened the kitchen especially for us. Lorenzo served us lovely gattucci (catfish), fried sea anemones and two lovely seafood pasta dishes. The food was fantastic, Lorenzo's hospitality was wonderfully warm and the terrace under the vines was very cozy. The price/performance ratio is very good, we will definitely come back!!!
